Jewelry Lifetime Warranty and Service Policy
LEIBISH LIFETIME WARRANTY AND SERVICE POLICY
LEIBISH offers a lifetime warranty and service program on eligible LEIBISH jewellery purchased through Italian Luxury Group.
This warranty is provided by LEIBISH and is administered for Italian Luxury Group customers with the assistance of Italian Luxury Group. All technical inspections, warranty determinations, repairs and approvals remain subject to assessment by LEIBISH or a LEIBISH-authorised service centre.
This voluntary warranty is additional to, and does not limit, any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer law.
1. Eligibility and commencement
1.1. This warranty applies only to eligible LEIBISH jewellery purchased directly from the Italian Luxury Group website or through another Italian Luxury Group authorised sales channel.
1.2. The warranty commences on the date the customer first receives the jewellery.
1.3. Proof of purchase from Italian Luxury Group is required before a warranty or service request can be processed.
1.4. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable, unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed to in writing by LEIBISH.
2. Lifetime warranty coverage
2.1. Subject to the conditions and exclusions below, the LEIBISH lifetime warranty covers the cost of eligible servicing and repair associated with normal wear, including:

professional cleaning;
-
rhodium plating, where applicable; and
-
inspection and tightening of loose prongs.
2.2. Coverage does not automatically include the replacement of gemstones, diamonds, chains, clasps, settings, components or other parts damaged through accident, misuse, impact, improper handling, unusual wear or unauthorised alteration.
2.3. When jewellery is submitted under this warranty, it will be inspected by a LEIBISH jewellery expert or a LEIBISH-authorised service centre.
2.4. LEIBISH will determine, acting reasonably and following inspection, whether the requested work is covered by this warranty.
2.5. If additional work is required that is not covered by the warranty, Italian Luxury Group or LEIBISH will provide the customer with an explanation and, where applicable, an estimate. No chargeable work will be undertaken without the customer’s approval.
3. Exclusions
This voluntary lifetime warranty does not cover:
3.1. loss or theft of the jewellery, in whole or in part;
3.2. loss, theft or accidental damage to a centre stone, side stone, pavé stone, accent diamond or gemstone;
3.3. damage resulting from impact, accident, misuse, neglect, improper handling, exposure to chemicals, excessive pressure or unusual or extreme wear;
3.4. ordinary scratching, denting or cosmetic deterioration that does not constitute a manufacturing defect;
3.5. ring resizing, except for the complimentary resizing service described below;
3.6. repair, resizing, modification or alteration performed by an unauthorised third party;
3.7. damage to chains, ear backs, nose rings, clasps or similar components caused by accident, pulling, impact, misuse or ordinary deterioration requiring replacement; or
3.8. any repair or replacement not approved by LEIBISH before the work is performed.
Nothing in these exclusions limits any non-excludable rights the customer may have under applicable consumer law.
4. Unauthorised repairs and alterations
4.1. Jewellery that has been resized, repaired, modified or altered by a third party without prior written authorisation from LEIBISH may no longer qualify for this voluntary warranty where the third-party work caused or contributed to the damage or prevents LEIBISH from properly assessing the jewellery.
4.2. This provision does not exclude any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Shipping, insurance and responsibility in transit
5.1. Customers must contact Italian Luxury Group before returning any jewellery. Jewellery must not be sent directly to LEIBISH or Italian Luxury Group without return instructions and authorisation.
5.2. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed in writing:
-
the customer is responsible for the cost of securely shipping and insuring the jewellery to the nominated service location; and
-
where the work is accepted under the LEIBISH lifetime warranty, LEIBISH will cover the authorised return shipping and insurance from the service location to the customer.
5.3. If the jewellery is found to have a defect or failure covered by applicable consumer law, Italian Luxury Group will comply with its legal obligations regarding reasonable return, transportation and remedy costs.
5.4. Italian Luxury Group and LEIBISH are not responsible for loss or damage occurring while jewellery is being transported by a carrier selected independently by the customer, except to the extent that liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
5.5. Italian Luxury Group or LEIBISH will determine the appropriate insured return method after servicing.
6. Gemstone and diamond care and loss
Natural diamonds and gemstones are durable but not indestructible. Impact, pressure, hard surfaces, improper handling and wear may cause stones to loosen, chip or become dislodged.
The lifetime warranty does not cover the loss, theft or accidental damage of gemstones or diamonds where the loss or damage was not caused by a manufacturing defect or another failure covered by applicable consumer law.
This includes, subject to the preceding paragraph:

centre stones;
-
side stones;
-
pavé settings;
-
accent diamonds; and
-
coloured gemstones.
Customers are strongly encouraged to obtain independent jewellery insurance covering loss, theft, accidental damage and gemstone replacement.
7. Ring resizing
7.1. Subject to the conditions below, LEIBISH offers one complimentary ring resizing within two years from the original purchase date.
7.2. The ring must be resized by LEIBISH or by a LEIBISH-authorised service centre.
7.3. Where a local authorised service centre is proposed, LEIBISH must approve both the service centre and the quoted cost before work commences.
7.4. The complimentary resizing service applies only to rings that LEIBISH determines can be safely resized.
7.5. It generally applies only to shanks that do not have diamonds set around the entire circumference or on the section that must be altered.
7.6. Rings with diamonds or gemstones set completely around the band, including full-eternity designs, may not be resizable. Customers are responsible for supplying the correct ring size before ordering these designs.
7.7. Unless LEIBISH approves otherwise, resizing is limited to a maximum of one and a half sizes above or below the original size.
7.8. Additional resizing requests after the complimentary service will be chargeable. The price will depend on the design, metal, gemstones and work required.
7.9. Italian Luxury Group will notify the customer of any applicable charge before the work is authorised.
7.10. Resizing or alteration by an unauthorised third party may affect the voluntary warranty where that work causes or contributes to damage.
8. Annual inspection and refurbishment
8.1. LEIBISH offers one complimentary inspection and eligible refurbishment service per year during the natural lifetime of the jewellery.
8.2. The service may include professional cleaning, inspection of the setting and plating where applicable.
8.3. Replacement parts, replacement gemstones, substantial rebuilding, damage caused by accident or misuse, and components worn beyond repair may incur an additional charge.
8.4. The customer will be informed of any recommended work and applicable cost before chargeable work begins.
9. How to make a warranty claim
Before returning the jewellery, the customer must contact:

The customer should provide:

the order number or other proof of purchase;

the purchaser’s name and contact information;

a clear description of the issue;
-
clear photographs or video showing the condition of the jewellery; and
-
any other information reasonably requested to assess the claim.
Italian Luxury Group will review the initial information and provide instructions regarding inspection, packaging, insurance and the authorised return location.
The jewellery must not be returned before written return authorisation has been issued.
10. Australian Consumer Law
For purchases covered by the Australian Consumer Law, the following applies:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits provided under the LEIBISH lifetime warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to the customer under applicable law.
11. Acceptance and application
By purchasing eligible LEIBISH jewellery from Italian Luxury Group, the customer receives the benefits of this warranty subject to these terms. A separate signed warranty agreement is not required.
This policy applies to eligible LEIBISH jewellery purchased from Italian Luxury Group on or after 1 July 2026.
